Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce Business Afterhours at SciTEC

Ruston Lincoln Chamber of Commerce LogoJoin us on May 14 from 5pm to 7pm at SciTEC for an open house with lots of fun that includes:

  • FREE Planetarium shows every 30 minutes.
  • Make and Take Activities at our Funnery
  • Science demos at our CenturyLink Activity Station
  • Sarah Wages with Bricks for Kids Lego Design and Building Activities
  • Book signing with Amanda Cauley and her new book, Born to Be a Bulldog.
  • Refreshments provided by McAllister's, Kona Ice, and Chic-Fil-A courtesy of the College of Education for the first 125 guests.
  • Door prizes provided by: 2 Crazy Girls, The Fabric Shop, Leslie Lakes Retirement Center, Louisiana Peach Festival, Outdoor Wilderness Learning Center, Princeton Place, and Rosemary's Kitchen.

Bricks 4 Kidz Summer Camps

Bricks 4 Kidz LogoBricks 4 Kidz is a program that teaches children creativity as well as science, technology, engineering, and math through the use of fun activities with LEGO® bricks.

Collage of children doing science experiments.SciTEC will again be offering our popular Summer Science Institute for kids in June and July. Camps are $120 per child, if registered before June 1, 2015, and $140 per child thereafter.

Red Stick Robotics Summer Robotics Camp

Red Stick Robotics LogoSciTEC, Red Stick Robotics, and the Girls Scouts of Louisiana are sponsoring a summer camp just for girls scouts to learn more about the fascinating world of robotics. Camp will be held June 29-July 1 from 9am to 4pm at a cost of $75 per student. Lunch is not provided in the fee.
