Field Experiences and Internships
One of the foundational instructional concepts at the College of Education at Louisiana Tech University is that diverse, "real world" experiences enhance an individual's professional competency and helps to prepare them for a career in their chosen field. As a result, most programs of study in the College of Education require students to complete an internship or other field experience under the supervision of clinical faculty.
Different programs may require slightly different types of internships, so you will need to be aware of the specific requirements of your program. For more information on your internship, you should contact your academic advisor.
