Early Childhood Education Center

The Early Childhood Education Center (ECEC) is a preschool learning and research laboratory for 3- and 4-year-old children that provides a child-centered focused and an optimal environment for the growth and development of its students. An integral component of instructional and research programming for the faculty and students in the School of Human Ecology, the ECEC is an all-day program that can currently accept up to 34 children across two classrooms. Consistently receiving Excellent CLASS ratings from the Louisiana Department of Education, the ECEC strives to serve as a model and support for the community of early childhood educators.
