Master of Education program ranked one of best in state
Louisiana Tech University’s Master of Education in Educational Leadership program was named among the best in Louisiana by the TFE Times.
The TFE Times used GRE scores, starting salaries, undergraduate GPA, acceptance rate, and employment rates to compute their rankings.
“This recognition shows the breadth of opportunities the College of Education provides for educators who want to advance their careers and serve their students better,” said Dr. Don Schillinger, Dean of the College. “From offering teaching certifications to preparing certified teachers for educational leadership, our faculty members are dedicated to providing an optimal educational experience and professional development.“
This ranking is just the latest in a series of recognition for the College of Education. In February, the Early Childhood Education program was recognized as one of the top 25 in the country, and U.S. News & World Report ranked the College as one of 2018’s best graduate programs in education.
The College offers a Master of Arts in Teaching along with a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction or Educational Leadership and a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership. In addition, Louisiana Tech offers graduate certificates in:
- Cyber Education for K-12 Teachers
- Higher Education Administration
- Orientation and Mobility
